Background
Founded in 2006, our bakery cold storage client creates hand-made savoury bakery products. These include tartlets, quiches, hot and cold pies and other savoury pastries. They sell to retailers such as John Lewis, Food Hall, Ocado, Costco, SPAR and Musgrave as well as supplying own-label products to Waitrose.
The Challenge
This fast growing business had an urgent requirement for a low noise portable coldstore. Local residents had previously approached the company with complaints about the noise levels of their existing exterior cold store on site.
The Solution
Having taken the call from the Operations Director, AHR were able to help. The team were able to offer the business a low noise, all electric, energy efficient portable refrigeration coldstore.
Despite some challenging on-site restrictions, the hauliers and expert installation team at AHR successfully sited a 14-pallet temperature control unit quickly and efficiently and with no impact to the manufacturers daily production line.
